Music_cards.jpgOct 09 Card challengeI've used the BG Offbeat range. (I've thrown in a 4th card just for fun!)
Card 1, 2 and 4 use vintage music paper in their design, and card 3 has music notes.
The techniques I've used are
Card 1. Punches with layering
Card 2. Quilting pattern design
Card 3. Masking

image0023.jpgmemorieswhilst i has nt stamps out decided to use them on this LO too. DH's parents com eform QLd and we dont see them much, kids loved spending time with grandad at the park.

Used BG periphery pp and ribbon, the blue is BG too but accidntly threw out the strip that said which one (sorry!)

October_24_09_a_001.jpgWilla MillaAs soon as I saw the sketch pieces I knew what I had to scrap. The thingy piece was a Willa Milla. The Cloud over Eve's head is also symbolic as at 19 she was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of cancer & died 6 mths. later. I stitched around the hills and wrote around the edge. The Photo is of Eve when she was almost 4; when the windmill would have been a Willa Milla. The second rectangle is the journaling tag. I used Cosmo Cricket Ever After papers on each card as well as a Basic Grey birdy stamp (to represent music).

First Card I used 3d-ing (the sentiment is mounted on foam), second is inked and third is distressed.
