I was there for her birth so it just explains how I felt and why I love her so very much..... Thanks for a great challenge Lisa (and as I dont journal that much I was thankful to get the words down on paper!!!!!) I used kraft c/s, red paint and staz on red ink, bo bunny pp, twine and random flowers, buttons and bling with october afternoon letters, which I coloured to match. For the handwriting there is the brief journalling down the bottom and the fun is handwritten then stitched over the top. I was a bit scared of the newspaper part but I scanned it in, printed it out on plain paper and then used diluted paint to wash over it to get the colour I wanted. 'My kind of ART'This is my take on Allie's sketch challenge. I loved the sketch BUT decided not to use p/p's as they just didnt work with the photo...Anyway I used my black signo pen and did some free-hand drawing...This is the cup and the oh so wonderful card I recieved for mothers day from no 1 grandson...I love these kind of gifts.... I used a Hero Arts flower stamp for the background, Crate Paper and some rubons. For the 'arty' bit I painted some white paint on pink PP and then added some crackle effect medium. I used this as a base for the rubons. Don't think the crackle effect will show up on the photo though! I also used DM on the seed beads to keep them in place.6 commentsOct 23, 2010
