(If anyone notices, theres not 36 people in the photo, a few slept in that day!!). I always imagined the big headstones to be spooky and I hated going to the cemeteries with headstones but now that I am older, they don’t scare me anymore. I now see the beauty in these headstones. Whilst death is not beautiful, the work of art on these headstones are amazing. It is very interesting seeing all the different shaped headstones and plots. They truly are a labour of love. It’s probably morbid to take photos of these headstones and a little disrespectful. But I fear that in years to come, these will be gone. Where would history be??? Of course not but by preserving the past we can teach our children and their children about life in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. I have alsp used Kraft c/s, KC Peachy Keen, random buttons and butterfly. The butterfly chose it's own spot on the LO. That is where it fell- glue side down! TFL2 commentsJun 25, 2010
