Muriel_031.JPGStitches of LoveI took my inspiration from the colours of the flags [teal & red] and the buildings [sandstone and brown]. I used CS which I sanded, distressed, inked and stamped. I tea dyed the lace stitched the title and handmade the journaling card. The photo is of my friend Gloria and her little brother taken in 1950 when Gloria was 3 yo. The children's clothes [parachute silk] were sewn and hand embroidered by their Mother, Dorothy Rowena Woods. PP is all craft Kingdom pattern pack. Made the cards from old stock in my stash.I cut the flowers from an old callendar. My interpretation is based on our rush to get out of the ward when we could grab moments to take Josh to the magic of the fairy garden at the Children's hospital.
