my-little-hansel-2.jpgMy little HanselI thought I would have a bit of fun with this page and record a story about my son, Michael [this happened about 16 years ago] This whole page- the story and photo is most probably something I would not have done if it wasn't for this challenge, so it's all good!! Journalling reads;Once upon a time in a faraway land of Morgan, there lived a little boy called Michael. One day he decided to lock the door on the outside toilet while he did a poo. time went by and byand he soon realised that he couldn't get out. After lots of crying, mummy came to help him. She was going to use an axe to break the door down, but luckily the nice man next door came to help. By this time the little boy was very, very distressed and suffocating, as he forgot to flush the toilet! He was very happy to be reunited with his mother and fresh air and they all lived happily ever after.7 commentsJun 12, 2009

IMG_3365.JPGA New JourneyWhat a challenge. There is a lot of cut work here. My fingers are very sore. I used Prima flowers, vine and pearls, tiny alphas, white feathers, ribbon, lace and ribbon roses. It's 8 1/2 by 11 inches.
I have put black card behind one shot so you can see the cut work better.

james-so-cute.jpgI really enjoyed doing this.Something different and now I want to do two like this for my other two grandkids!! I have made it so it can slip into a 12x12 plastic pocket, but I might just put it up on the wall in my scrapbooking room!! It has come out a little bit darker than it is, mainly because I am not very good at this taking photos and uploading them. That is why I prefer to do 8x11! I have just placed white cardstock behind it, just for the photo.15 commentsJun 10, 2009

100_2569.JPGCastleHere is my take on the sketch. My fairy tale moment was moving into our new home. We both grew up in small family homes so this really is our 'Castle'. The first night here was so much fun. We only had our bed. We moved the rest of the furniture in over the next few days.

Here is the updated pic.

challengeonejunecc.jpgIn sickness an healthFunny how when you say your vows when you get married, you don't give much thought to "in sickness and health". But for us as a couple and also as a family this vow has been the truest test of love and faithfullness.

The picture is taken on our last trip to the hunter, the smile on my face is hidng the fact that I actually can't walk without aid :( atm, and my gorgeous hubby just helped me and supports me without even batting an eyelid.

Total unconditional LOVE!

inspirationchallengejunecc.jpg3 Princessesas soon as I saw the princesses in the challenge all I could think about was DISNEY!! So I did a layout of my girls (+ neice) in London seeing the Lion King musical, dressed up in gorgeous frocks and looking like princesses. I tweaked the colours to make them a little hotter to match the photo's, and added lace inspired by princess dresses.6 commentsJun 08, 2009
