April_10_cc_sketch_challenge.jpgabout you in 2010I decided to use the sketch chall. to do a title page for my GD's album for 2010. I'm glad I kept the leftover bit from the OA Country fair journalling cards sheet coz I just ran some ink and a baby wipe over the top of it and it made a perfect frame. Used SassLass (applejack)for b/ground and reverse side for under the frame. Not sure that this page represents a change?? more of a growth I guess but I needed a title page and I loved the sketch...good enough reason lol. tfl 11 commentsApr 17, 2010

April_CC_-_Card_Challenge_-_3_Cards.jpgApril CC - Card Challenge - 3 CardsThank you Lisa....I have made 2 mens cards, one for my DS (new job) & one for our friend who is turning 60, & just a little one with offcuts for my DGS.
Used Bazzill CS, & Bella Bvld pp, Thickers alphas, ribbon, chippie cogs, Dew Drop ink. I rarely use brads, so added a couple to the big cards.
Needed to make these cards...so very timely. Thanks a bunch Lisa.

103_2463.jpgIt's TimeI was inspired by the blue and the idea of leaving/flying away (like a butterfly).
I journaled around the edges AND on the journaling card. Around the edges there are some Brad Paisley lyrics about changing and leaving and stuff like that then i've written "I've done a LOT of changing in the last few months. The biggest is my eagerness to leave Cairns, my hometown. I never used to want to leave but now it seems like the only way to move forward in life. 103_2464.jpgMohawkI used more than 2 photos and i used the sketch... but i did it really differently to how it was probably 'supposed' to be done.
It's my bro in law's mohawk which he had to wait until school holidays to get and it was only for the week... lol... couldnt' go back to school like that!
