Feb10_techinque_chall.jpgI luv U starsong.250 viewsMy take on the Feb technique challenge....I stuck down photos, a My Little Pony serviette and a heart paper doily then painted with white around it all, more solid where the title needed to go. Then laid down the alphas and sprayed with sand glimmermist. I then outlined the letters in pen and shadow painted them to make them stand out more. tfl6 comments

flying_thru_rainbows.jpgFlying Through Rainbows183 viewsThis probably needs some explaining! When I was a teen my stepmum had my little sister Zoe who was stillborn. Throughout all my albums are layouts of other family members and I wanted some way to represent Zoe. When I heard this song years ago, written in memory of another little girl named Zoe who passed away it seems the perfect way to remember her. I wanted a bright happy layout (to ensure it didn't seem morbid) and the glitter behind the title (hard to see in pics!) just added to that bright effect.6 comments

therfeb.JPGStar171 viewsHere is my take on the Glimmer Mist challenge. I used white c/s as my backing sheet when spraying the glimmer mist on flowers. This created a perfect background for my layout. No problem colour matching etc. Kaiser flowers and pearls, chipboard word (inked and sprayed with glimmer mist) and Fiskars border punch completed a very simple lo.5 comments
