I have recycled some old lace using a distressing spray in olive green. The frill around the Chocolate circle has been done with a border punch then run through a paper crimper to get the folds to make it easy to go around the curve.7 comments

April_Journalling_-_Our_Son.jpgApril Journalling - Our Son126 viewsOh what a huge, gigantic change in our lives...the birth of our son in 1979.....I loved working on this double LO....we don't have lots of photos of Benni when he was little...(oh the digital age is wondrous to me) & I wanted to scrap this photo of me....looking like a stunned mullet.....& DH who was bowled over as well.
Used brown CS & a pinky beige colour pp...I dont know why, but it was calling, chippies, KC flowers & brads, hand sewing, alphas, ink.

STA60028-1.JPGLisa's Suprise Challenge April 2010 - Something Old126 viewsI loved this challenge as i have so much older stash, especially pp's which i hoard & think "oh that's got to be used for a special card/LO". Apart from the bling, everything i used was well over 12 months old!!!

I have used a circular aperture card, K&Co pp which i cut all of the flowers, swirls & leafy bits from, i am unsure who the background pp is by, the sentiment behind the acetate is by Kaiser, bling & Glossy Accents.
