The_Wind.JPGThe Wind217 viewsOk finally my first attempt at a Challenge. I think the Challenge was more to upload this photo and work my way through the confusion of not being very computer savvy. I inked, embossed and distressed plain pink card to make my paper, then found a photo that suited the colours. The embellishment is part of the actual headpiece that my girls wore. It certainly pays to be a hoarder.

Great colours Mandy and I really enjoyed using my inks for a change to distress my background. I took mysef out of my comfort zone.

June_Sketch_Resized.jpgJune Sketch Challenge214 viewsHere's my take on Julie's sketch for this month.
Papers are MME On the Bright Side, frame is from the MME Alphabet Soup Accessories Sheet, AC kraft cardstock.
I coloured the paper twine with Distress ink, and added ink to the orange ribbon as well. The flowers were coloured with tattered angels mists then inked as well.
The sentiment stamps and the birds are all from Teresa Collins, and I've added aged patina perfect pearls for some sparkle.
Thanks for looking!7 comments
