I've just found this thread and I'm a bit late in answering you.

thanks so very much for the cheery welcome and to Lee-Anne for asking me to jump on board the DT team. What an awesome compliment :biggrin:

I'll be mostly hanging in the 'shutter therapy' thread in the forum so head on over and ask away at what you'd like to know. I'll be compiling a list of what interests you so I can make sure its answered in due course.

I've already posted an aperture know how, and a short example of how to shoot Christmas lights. This can be applied to birthday cake candles, a child reading a book with a torch or some other low light situations.
