Lee-Anne. What a precious unguarded moment you've captured. You can see his essence and his sweetness.

Are you able to lighten his face just a little bit without affecting the highlights already there.

You're friend sure will appreciate this shot of her little boy.

t :)

[quote=You know what Gypsy.....
your photography is wonderful! I know I get something from your efforts.
And its all about finding that one thing - that niche - in life that gives great pleasure and enthusiasm, and maybe you've found it

Some people never find it sadly. [/quote]

Mandy. you are soooo right.

Gypsy. You have found a passion that allows you to express yourself in a way that perhaps you thought not possible. And you've risen to succeed in the challenges along the way. Nothing ever comes easy. With a bit of effort comes great rewards.

Here is an alternative shot that I like as well, however keeping in mind what you say about leading lines the railing may be a bit to dominant

theapol. Just how sweet is Lily. you can see detail and light from her eyes, the little smile is gorgeous and its well lit. Focus is sharp on her eyes which is one of the most important things besides the light. The only thing I would have liked to see is less detail in the background. I suggest f5.6 or less.(meaning smaller number, smaller focus). And that would have picked up your shutter speed a bit as well. I'm impressed that its as sharp as it is at only 1/80th. well done.

Her little pony tail grabs me in the second one as well has her thumb sucking action. so very cute. Background nicely blurred.

Memories to treasure forever.

Well done theapol. You've done well.

tiff :)

I'd love for you ladies to scrap your portraits that you've captured during this last month.

So as an extra incentive to get your images into the challenge gallery, I've annouced an extra chance to win a $25 voucher.

You'll need to go here to get the details.

BUT you need to use an image that you've captured and loaded in the gallery during July.

so get cracking girls (and male lurkers  ). There's a couple of days left in July to get that image in the bag and in the gallery.

happy snappin'
tiff :)

HI Tiff yeh me again sorry just wondering if we could do something on black and white picutres some time. To me they are something I have always avoided as when I was younger I was alwasy told that colour was too expenice ( don't blame my parents they didn't have a lot to spare ) so i always look at them difffnetly so once I got to colour I never looked at that balck and white side of things Recently been looking at a lot of your photo's and mum's and few others and see how great they can be in b&w just a thought if others are intested

Gypsy. You have just chosen the tute for Sept.

And that is a tremendous idea. Thank you for that.

I love any ideas from everyone so we can get them in the bag for you.

Gypsy. What editing program do you use??
