INGREDIENTS: 1 landscape 6x4in photo (a portrait photo will throw the instruction measurements out) 2 12x12 contrasting papers 1 contrasting scrap paper 20 x 20cms (preferably plain-ish) 1 piece of contrasting scrap paper OR fabric OR lace – 24cms x 7cm 1 piece of trim 28cms long and about 2 1/2cms wide. Alpha for the title that is no longer 15cms Rectangular journaling spot – (long and skinny) Cluster of embellies
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1 Distress and ink your chosen background 12x12 (or you can sand your edges if you prefer)
STEP 2 Cut your other 12x12 paper down 2cm’s on all sides so it’s smaller than the background paper. Distress, ink or sand your edges. Stick so that its centred on your first 12x12 paper. (When sticking, I put my tape runner 1cm or so in from edge on the underside, cos I like to turn up my outside edges up to look 'tray like' or like a frame with turned up corners iykwim - you dont have to do this, but you might like to try with each layer we put on
STEP 3 Using your scrap paper 20 x 20cms distress, ink or sand Centre this in the middle of your LO (so its the 3rd layer) and stick down. (turn up the edges on this too if you like)
STEP 4 Using your scrap paper/fabric/lace 24x7cms (if paper – distress, ink, sand) and lay across the bottom (horizontally) of the 20x20cm scrap leaving 1cm from the bottom of it. (still keep it centred from the outside edges)
STEP 5 Photo – distress ink sand (if its not an old photo) and stick it centre of the 20x20cm scrap paper. (of course the bottom of the photo will lay partially over the top of the scrap 24x7cm paper/fabric/lace piece)
STEP 6 Using your piece of trim 28cms long and about 2 1/2cms wide – stick this horizontally along the centre of your scrap paper OR fabric OR lace – 24cms x 7cm. This should then lay slightly over and across the bottom of the photo and almost to each side edge of the background 12x12 paper.
STEP 7 Place your title along the top of the photo.
STEP 8 Tuck your rectangular journaling spot vertically under one of the sides of the layers (mine is poking out from under the right hand side of the 20x20cm paper)
STEP 9 Arrange your embellies around the bottom corners of the photo and anything else that will make this LO your own. (I've used a Prima vine underneath my photo and added a coupla buttons, and tucked some leaves under a top corner of my 20x20) so dress your LO up how you would like now
