It is the start of another week and it looks as if this cold I have been trying to keep at bay for a few weeks has reared its ugly head. Great. Just what I need right now. I am so glad that it is a long weekend out here.
Am hoping to tackle some creating this morning if I can get my head around it. What are your plans for today and this week?
teehee......love that photo, Mandy. I've been scrapping this morning. Just finished my LGS LO and now hope to tackle the Room Challenge......which one to choose?
Mandy, love the pic, sanding and panting.. hmm nope you can keep that giggle..
Sounds like you've had a very productive morning Deb
A bit of cleaning of the kitchen and some of my scrappy spaces for me this morning.. ( yes i did i say spaces, i have bits and pieces everywhere, i had one room, and somehow some of my projects and things have now migrated through the house and are in three.. my craft room, the family room, and the garage..)
And now the count down begins, to my wonderful day of creating in Brisbane on friday... with none other than the Man himself.. Tim Holtz! yay!! ( sorry ladies i am a little bit excited... )

hahaha....Karen... the migrating is what I do.... it just follows me round the house...anywhere there;s a flat clear surface and when that fills... I move to the next!! HOPELESS! THen I pick up EVERYTHING and dump it back on my scrap desk PILED high! THEN I must clear away!
I'm there at the moment... piled high desk and clearing!
Dh is sanding at the moment... I'm waiting for that to finish and then I'm painting - I hate ceilings!
sanding and painting ceilings Mandy, that is not how to spend a Sunday
DH and I are having a few days away this week, it's our 30th wedding anniversary, which is a bit mind-blowing.
I'm off to scrap, having hosted a brunch this morning and had dinner last night with friends. Have chosen a room for my inspiration although the interpretation will probably be a bit loose!
kids and i have been sick for aweek and its so not a nice one, dry chesty cough, raging temps, running noses.... am very much over it!! half the school has been home sick.
rory is asleep, i just had a nap and girls are feeding sheep with their dad. computer is playing up so i havent managed to be able to open any threads with pictures in it so i cnat see what the DT have been up this month, oh well hopefully i can open them soon.
I had a lovely morning at Babinda - wish I had thought to take something else for me to work on after the class - I could have stayed and chatted all day
I've picked out some goodies to use for my holiday album - I think I'll just chip away at it, hopefully using some of this months challenges for inspiration.

Cold and rainy today here in Adelaide but I've been keeping our combustion heater burning and making roast pumpkin soup (among other things) and catching up with other people's blogs, so nice weather to be in
Will prob do a scrap challenge tomorrow, it is our 13th wedding annivesary so may go out this weekend coming I think...
After running the family business for 2 weeks straight. I am having the next few days off. Tomorrow I have my son so will chill and relax and maybe a hint of cleaning. Wednesday I drop him to his fathers and day to myself. Ahh that sounds bless. What to do?hmmmmm

hope the kids and you are feeling better Belinda??
Welcome home from Bali Christine - looking forward to the photos!!!
Happy anniversaries Helen and Shauna!!! And hope you get some scrapping done in your time off Kay!
I've just finished painting the hall...its looks fabbo... it had ghastly floral wallpaper in autumn tones above the plate rail (its dark wood panelling below it-which I love) so now its a lovely light latte colour and white ceiling... the ceiling was a horrible mustard colour with an olive green cornice (ugh) and made the whole hallway look dowdy and dull... Huge difference now!!
It's my birthday week too Christine lol! My dad's coming to visit later in the week, and I have dinner plans on Friday night.
I started an album for a friend who's expecting the arrival of her first nephew later in the year. And I need to unpack some more boxes in the spare room so Dad has somewhere to sleep when he gets here

Been a long day here today. Looking forward to my day of tomorrow but with washing, shopping and putting together a bookcase it is going to be pretty full.
