a_young_picasso_800x600.jpga young picasso by Tiff FirthI started off with the sketch and I ended up wandering so far from it that I really can't relate it back to the sketch at all. I seem to do this a lot. A sketch is my jump start then I give it a 'tiff twist' so its a bit different. In some cases a lot different.
and to add.... I got a bit carried away with this one, and forgot to journal on the background paper with printer. By the time I realised, it was too late. So I hand wrote. Something I haven't done in years lol5 commentsMar 16, 2013
Difficult-to-Believe.jpgDifficult to BelieveI know I'm going to be one of those mother's who repeat the same thing every year, but it's difficult to believe she's growing so fast and I'm now the mother of a 6 year old!!
Inspired by the sketch but I had to interpret it slightly differently to fit my photos and design. Mainly by making the two photos on the right into a grid with other journaling cards , and fitting my title horizontally instead of vertically as suggested.
But I loved the challenge.
Thanks guys

WOW_1.JPGWOW! My daughters surprise when she saw me after loosing 25kg over 8 months. I have lost a total of 32kg now. I feel so more able and so much better, and I sure know what foods put weight on me which is a bit tough... I flipped the challenge to suit the angle of the photos.... It was fun misting with White and Water and adding the extras. Something I would probably not usually do, so thank you for the Sketch and Challenge2 commentsFeb 27, 2013

Whinge.jpgThe Whinging StoryI had great fun playing along with the sketch challenge this month. Thanks Mandy for the fab sketch.
I've got two young daughters and like all kids they throw their fair share of tantrums! But it's all part of growing up and therefore I still think it's a scrap-worthy story! It doesn't have to be all weddings and birthdays right?! LOL ;-)2 commentsFeb 26, 2013
