Always_Smiling_April_2012_Room_1.jpgAlways SmilingI took inspirations from the colours, pink, cream and grey/brown. This is the first time I have made these flowers. I used Tim Holtz papers and distressed and added silver bling.5 commentsApr 23, 2012
Remember.jpgRememberRoom 2 My inspiration came from the colour, The green background and all that yellow. I would not normally scrap with yellow but this picture suited it perfectly. A few years back I scanned this photo into my computer and spent many hours fixing it. The original photo was a B&W snapshot that turned out rather well so a friend of Mums used the special photo ink to colour it. It wasn't a professional job & when I enlarged it the colour didn't go to the edges. Photo editing programmes are wonderful.6 commentsApr 21, 2012
The_Book_Journelling.jpgThe Book JournellingThis is the story behind the page. It is so romantic that I couldn't help scrapping it.2 commentsApr 20, 2012
The_Book.jpgThe BookMandy's table 1. I was inspired by the colours and the contrast of the square lines of the mirror, and the curves of the bunnies and eggs. I will upload the journalling also as the title means nothing without the romantic story of the meeting of my great grandparents. There are some elements on the page that are symbolic of the story, the cross for their christianity, the tape and clock for the many years they spent together. The page from an old hymn book and the hymn title [who will man the life boats] 4 commentsApr 20, 2012
005_28Medium29.JPGcooking schoolThis is my take on table 3. The inspiration was the colours and the shape of the nests lined vertically along the table though in my take the 'nests' are on the right.4 commentsApr 19, 2012

003.JPGFirstbornThis layout was inspired by Mandy's April room challenge 3. I took the colour as my inspiration for the paper colours and made the hand made tags in the shape of the eggs. Loved the table too Mandy T.F.L. 8 commentsApr 15, 2012
Durban_July_1988_layout.JPGOff to the Races - April 12 Table 1 challengeThis is my take on the Easter Table 1 challenge. I loved the soft and muted colours of the setting and have also used the frame and flowers for my inspiration. So I set the photograph in a frame of blossoms and lace. I have also been playing around with making handmade flowers which I used on this layout. 7 commentsApr 14, 2012
