The white is not cardstock it is my pantry, the scalloped edge is actually the shape of the layout.

_MG_4506_1.jpgMy sweet cupcake
Here's my entry for this week. I love cupcakes so couldn't resist doing a cupcake shaped page. It's my cute little sis in the photo.

102_0209-1.jpgMy Bucket ListI don't often do layouts solely about myself so I quite enjoyed doing this. I'd been thinking about the things I want to do in my life, and decided what better way to remind myself to do them than to put them on a scrapbook page!9 commentsJun 16, 2009
CoolWheels.JPGLuke's Cool WheelsI had so much fun doing this layout! It's about my son and his new bike that he had received for Christmas.9 commentsJun 15, 2009

2009-06-15_MBM-#3---Gem-1-w.jpgMBM Challenge 3 - miracleAfter much thinking, I finally decided to do my LO on felt. I have cut and hand stitched the heart on. I have always wanted a special way to use this photo I took of my daughter, Gemma Skye at only 1 week old.

IMG_3365.JPGA New JourneyWhat a challenge. There is a lot of cut work here. My fingers are very sore. I used Prima flowers, vine and pearls, tiny alphas, white feathers, ribbon, lace and ribbon roses. It's 8 1/2 by 11 inches.
I have put black card behind one shot so you can see the cut work better.

james-so-cute.jpgI really enjoyed doing this.Something different and now I want to do two like this for my other two grandkids!! I have made it so it can slip into a 12x12 plastic pocket, but I might just put it up on the wall in my scrapbooking room!! It has come out a little bit darker than it is, mainly because I am not very good at this taking photos and uploading them. That is why I prefer to do 8x11! I have just placed white cardstock behind it, just for the photo.15 commentsJun 10, 2009

MBM_09_chall_3.jpgOnce a little girl.Challenge 3 MBM - I did my LO on an old embroidered doily that belonged to my Mum. I tilted the oval shape on it's side a bit so it fits into a 12x12 sleeve. I put a small oval of cardstock behind the centre part of the doily to scrunch it up a bit and went from there. The photos are of my Mum when she was a little girl.17 comments
