This is me and DH in period costume.The old tape measure is a scan of my DH's Nanna' tape[ I still use it] and the necklace is my mums. th_P1060445.JPGMy Mother Said CC # 2This is inspired by the 50s clothes in the pick My mum was the ultimate 50s wife she worked hard but did everything with elegance and grace - she was brought up to be the homemaker and some of her saying were so 'then' - Even if you have had a baby, wearing a nice frock and lipstick when your husband comes home' was one that stuck in my memory - and everything was made better by a bandaid or later - a nice cup of tea.
