Room_1_-_Precious_Gift.jpgRoom 1 - Precious GiftI was inspired by the bows which represented a gift, to me...and that is what my younger brother's daughter is to him/us..a precious gift. I was also inspired by the b/w pics on the wall hence the photo choice and the matting is painted hessian which was a fun thing to try. TFL!5 comments

Lumpy_Tree.JPG"LUMPY TREE" Room 3 May 2012 ChallengeThe fern tree in the pot reminded me of this Lumpy Tree on a road we travel regular. The Striped and Spotted paper matched the Fern Tree and the Vase of Flowers. The Blue inked spots blend with the Blue on the cushions. 7 comments

The bed where she could rest but be a part of us and the dreaded clock on the wall. Mums life had nothing but challenges from age 23 until she died in 1985. The colours just suited this paper as well.9 comments
